Homemade Cajun Seasoning!

Want to bring a little spice into your life? Can you think of a few foods that could use a little pick me up or a little kick to make them really stand out? I love this seasoning! I first created it to start making my own dirty rice recipe and it has taken on a life of its own. Now I add it to fish, chicken, vegetables, sweet potato fries, tater tots, wherever I can sprinkle it to take an everyday food to the next level. I usually make a double batch of it and put it into old spice jars so I have it on hand whenever I need it. Highly recommend it!

Homemade Cajun Seasoning!

  • 1/2 tsp Salt (You can use more if you wish, I don't usually use a lot of salt in my food)

  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 1/2 tsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Less if you want less kick)

  • 1 1/4 tsp Dried Oregano

  • 1 1/4 tsp Dried Thyme

  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (Optional, less if you want less kick)

Mix together and enjoy!
