Not-Boring Water Option - Daily Lemon & Tea Drink

I am a strong believer in making sure you get enough water everyday. The benefits of proper hydration benefit many aspects of your health. However, water can get kind of boring, and if you live in an area where the water is heavily treated it can taste terrible!
So, how do we remedy this without drinking the usual culprits that either pack us full of unneeded calories or unhealthy artificial sweeteners? I created this mixture to help keep my interest in making my water goal everyday while also not getting bored. It is now something my friends make for themselves and look forward to when company visits.

What You'll Need:
1/4 Lemon
1 Packet True Lemon Lemonade like this here.
*If using another brand it is best to assure it is low/no calorie and that it is all natural, not artificially sweetened.
1 Bag of green tea or fruit flavored tea that blends well with lemon flavor.
How to Prepare:
Fill a pitcher with 2 qts of water. Squeeze the lemon juice into the water and add the pieces to the pitcher. Add the tea bag and packet of lemon drink mix. Refrigerate for at least an hour. I usually prepare it in the evening and let it sit over night. Cold brewing the tea like this makes the tea less acidic. You get more flavor without the bitterness.
