Healthy Buffalo Chicken

Updated: Jul 12, 2019

I love making healthy food people love. Whether it’s football game day or a summer barbeque, buffalo chicken wraps are a crowd favorite. This easy recipe can be used for wraps or salads. It can also easily be adapted for wings or strips. I make this for dinner one night then enjoy salads for the next few days. So delicious! Let me know what you think. What You'll Need:

1 lb Chicken Breasts cut into strips (can also sub chicken tenders)

2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning (If you don't have any, see my homemade version Here)

1/2 C Of your favorite hot sauce such as Frank's Red Hot Sauce.

2 tbsp Butter

Buffalo Chicken Salad

How To Prepare:

Preheat oven, or grill to 350. Cut chicken breasts into strips and toss with the Cajun seasoning. This is where your recipe will get most of your kick, if you want your chicken more or less spicy, this is where to adjust. Once coated well bake in a single layer for about 15 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking melt the butter and mix in the hot sauce.

When the chicken is done, cut into bite sized pieces and place into the pan with the sauce. Stir until well coated. Serve as a wrap with lettuce, tomato, celery and ranch; or on top of your favorite salad.

BONUS!

Use the left over sauce to make your own buffalo ranch dip (Particularly tasty with Buffalo Chicken Salad)

Mix 2 tbsp sauce to 1/3 cup of ranch.

I make my salad with chopped cabbage, tomato, avocado and a hard boiled egg. Yum!

Enjoy!
